Not all Reviews are created equal!!

Not all Reviews are created equal!!

When used correctly, Google Review Plates and Cards can get you multiple reviews per day!

To help you get more reviews and also to help improve your ranking please use the following information and you will improve your Google Map!

Not all Reviews are created equally!!

Firstly getting 5 stars isn't actually a review...

The stars are the 'Rating' and the written Review is the 'Review'!

The written review helps with your Ranking so much more than a 5 star rating, 5 star ratings are still very important! Especially when aiming for a 5 star average!

When getting reviews always push for 5 stars and a written review with your main keywords in there too!

Does Replying to Reviews Help?

Yes replying to Reviews helps improve Google Ranking as it shows that you engage with your customers.

This is also an opportunity for you to add more keywords to your listing by replying to a Review like this...

'Thank you for your Review of our Google Review Card, we hope that your Card brings in plenty of reviews and helps improve your Google Ranking'

If we continue to add our main keywords into each replies this will help with our own SEO signals.

Also customers trust businesses more that reply to reviews meaning there is more chance that they will choose you!

Best practices when replying to Google Reviews

✅ Reply to all Reviews, not just bad ones!

✅ Use Google Review Plates, QR Codes and Links

✅ Get regular reviews little and often

✅ Thank customers and encourage future business

🚫 Don't use AI, its pretty obvious and doesn't look good

🚫 Don't get bulk reviews all at once

🚫 Don't copy and paste your replies, be original and natural

🚫 Never buy fake reviews

How to get the best out of your Google Review Plate

Put your Google Review Plate close to where a customer pays and also where it is easily noticeable.

Prompt your customer to leave a review. A Google Review Plate won't magically make people leave reviews, it just makes it 10 times easier for your customers to leave a review.

Don't put the Google Review Plate onto metal as the metal will interfere with the NFC and won't work.

How to use a Google Review Plate with different phones

With an iPhone the NFC sensor is at the top of the phone and is best tapping your phone at an angle like below.

NFC was added to iPhones in 2014 and can't be turned off, if an iPhone won't work it will either be too old or broken.

Things are slightly different with androids, most androids come with their NFC turned off.

Don't worry as most will have this turned on to make contactless payments with their phone. If not they can go to their settings and simply turn on NFC.

The NFC in an android is on the back in the middle so by placing your android onto the Google Review Plate like below they can very easily leave you a Google Review.

If you follow these tips and be consistent your ranking will improve.
