How to get the best out of your Google Review Plate
Put your Google Review Plate close to where a customer pays and also where it is easily noticeable.
Prompt your customer to leave a review. A Google Review Plate won't magically make people leave reviews, it just makes it 10 times easier for your customers to leave a review.
Don't put the Google Review Plate onto metal as the metal will interfere with the NFC and won't work.
How to use a Google Review Plate with different phones
With an iPhone the NFC sensor is at the top of the phone and is best tapping your phone at an angle like below.
NFC was added to iPhones in 2014 and can't be turned off, if an iPhone won't work it will either be too old or broken.
Things are slightly different with androids, most androids come with their NFC turned off.
Don't worry as most will have this turned on to make contactless payments with their phone. If not they can go to their settings and simply turn on NFC.
The NFC in an android is on the back in the middle so by placing your android onto the Google Review Plate like below they can very easily leave you a Google Review.
If you follow these tips and be consistent your ranking will improve.
